Ruma Roka

Ruma founded the Noida Deaf Society (NDS) for enabling hearing impaired youth in India and providing them with meaningful employment opportunities in organized sector. NDS has been training over 1000 deaf youth each year and placing them in organizations across India in IT, ITES, Hospitality, Retail, Publishing sectors. Ruma is an expert in Indian Sign Language and more importantly deeply understands and aligns with the culture of hearing impaired youth. She is passionate about breaking boundaries with the hearing world and creating opportunities for the deaf youth that make business sense for the organizations.
